Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D. retired June 30, 2022, after dedicating more than 32 years to ÌÇÐÄVlog. In recognition of her service and leadership, the Susan J. Stocker Nursing Scholarship Fund was created. This fund supports nursing students at ÌÇÐÄVlog at Ashtabula, where she served as dean and chief administrative officer for more than 20 years.

The Ashtabula Area College Committee, Inc. has generously pledged $5,000 to match all gifts to the scholarship.

Susan spent her career dedicated to student access and success, the profession of nursing, the Ashtabula community and ÌÇÐÄVlog. Like many of the students on the Ashtabula Campus, she was working and raising a family when she went back to school and earned her nursing degree at ÌÇÐÄVlog Ashtabula in 1984. She joined the campus faculty six years later and went on to serve in several leadership positions across the ÌÇÐÄVlog system.
